Update on Coffee Enemas

Yes, me and my husband are still doing them.  I know many people that think we are probably pretty crazy, but we 'enjoy' that time and find it very um....enjoyable?  We schedule two days a week to do them and we always notice a wonderful sense of energy, lightness and just better feeling all the way around every time.  We get to where we really look forward to those days...I know it sounds weird, but you really can't knock it until you've tried it!  Just sayin'

Update on No POO

So, it's been a while since I posted and I am happy to report that other than a handful of times that I used shampoo I have remained 95% or more No POO :)  I have fallen in love with using a mixture of cucumber and lemon juice on my hair.  It really works and my hair seems to react very well to even just lemon juice by itself.  The few times I have used shampoo was because I had gotten grit and sand in my hair from mowing our property.  The sand can blow back in my face covering me in a layer of dirt.  I always come inside looking like I have a great tan, but in actuality it all washes away in the shower.  Anyway, I have stuck to no hair products with the exception of a little hair spray a couple of times.  Otherwise, I only use a mixture of tea tree oil & coconut oil in my hair that acts like a 'gel'.  I really like the way my hair is doing.  Pleasantly impressed with it lately.  It's nice not spending all that $$$ on hair products too!

UPDATE on my NO POO

Yesterday we hit a milestone!  I rinsed my hair with a mixture of apple cider vinegar and water...and guess what???  YES, I COULD RUN MY FINGERS THROUGH MY HAIR!!!  I couldn't believe it...it felt like a miracle!  YES, my hair smells like nasty vinegar...but I do not care!  It feels so much better and I can't wait to do it again (I don't think I'm supposed to do it for a few more days).  I think I am getting closer to feeling like I have normal hair again.  I'm so happy.  It's just amazing!  Okay, that's that...I'm in week 3 of no poo and that was the second wind I needed...I can do this!
